Fire– sorry but you don't want to sleep in a moldy bed; it could make you sick.References :
Is it the bed frame or the bedding? For a wooden bed frame, I'd use a mild bleach solution, followed by a good lemon oil. For a plastic or metal frame, use a spray bleach solution, then wash down throughly. If it is the bedding (mattress/box spring) you will need a new set. The mold spores are in places that you can't even see and will spread to other areas.References :

I have been using non-toxic products that I buy on line, and they have a great product that you can use either on the frame or the mattress that will kill the mold and mildew, and will not harm you in the process. Very concentrated and economical, so would be much cheaper than buying a new bed. Bleach only turns the mold white, it does not really kill it. The bleach could cause you health problems along with the mold, at the very least lung damage such as asthma. The name of the product is Sol-U-Mel, and you might want to check it out along with about 400 other safe non-toxic products, they are also environmentally friendly. I also love the fact that they are all Made in America. See what you think, you can take a look at <a href="http://www.smartlivingsense.comwww.smartlivingsense.com<br />References :
Its best to get a new one because if you clean the mold from the outside you still won't see whats in the mattress itself which will draw bed bugs and other kinds of pests you want always be able to see when the spread is on the light is off or when you are sleep. Certain kinds of mites are drawn to mold and you can't see them except under a microscope. A new one would be better for your health and your convenience.References :
