How to clean up mold in basement without making problem worse?

I’m planning on using bleach, wearing a mask, and gloves. What should I do exactly? Spray it on? I’m not certain how to remove it physically (should I use a bucket of hot water and a sponge to remove it first?) And should I use a fan to dry the area to prevent regrowth? I’m also putting a dehumidifier in the area in the next few days.

Thanks!

I’d scrub off as much as possible, dry it and then paint over it with Kilz. And then, yeah, use a dehumidifier.

one of those long devices where you can use to clean easier than stressing with a sponge, don't know what they are called, but you can clean windows with them. It also saves time, something long and good at removing the mold.References :
