After more than two weeks of extended students’ break, the Moulton Extended Learning Center will be opening again for its students. The school has to close on August 22 due to some black mold discovered in a classroom.
The mold problem made school officials to panic and decided to delay the reopening of the school to make sure that the students and teachers will be safe while in school. Moulton students might have enjoyed their additional 2-week break but officials said that future school breaks would be spent to make up the missed school days.

The Moulton Extended Learning Center in Des Moines is ready to reopen after the facility was closed August 22 on reports of mold found in a classroom.
School officials estimated the building would reopen last week but additional work was needed on the ventilation system.
On Tuesday, September 6, kindergarten through eighth grade students will be back in class. Preschool and headstart students will go back on Thursday, September 8.
