Black Mold Self-Removal?

I found a lot of black mold growing between my clear mat (for roller chairs) and mexican tile. I read that using white fermented vinegar is actually better than bleach. Seeing as I have this sort of tile I figured it was better as well. I just went through and scrubbed up as much as I could, but a lot of it is still stained on there. I left the vinegar sitting on there. My friend told me that it took her a week to remove all her black mold using vinegar. Does anyone have any other specific instructions I can use? If you know how to use vinegar to clean up black mold, do you know how often I should clean this each day?
Also, aren’t I supposed to be venting my room rather well while I’m doing this? I have both windows open, ceiling fan on and the low vent of the swamp cooler on. The door is closed and I’m not in there, but is this not something I should do?
