black mold removal?

What is a good home mixture to remove blackmold? I believe a mixture of bleach and soap and water works, but I’m not sure.

You can also add vinegar to your bleach mixture. Vinegar helps to stop the mold from growing back. Good luck. 2D

Black mold is not something to mess with if it is in large quantities. If it is simply a small amount you can use bleach water to clean it. Run a dehumidifier in the area too to keep moisture at bay. If it is a large amount contact a water restoration company who can check it for you and also have it tested if need be.References :

    WEAR A FACE MASK!!!

Use bleach, hot water, baking soda, and lots of elbow grease – BLEACH will kill ANYthing. If it is a very large patch, or you're dealing with a severely affected area, then GET RID OF IT ENTIRELY…

Pull the drywall out and replace it – if the mold infection is severe, you will never be able to kill it all, and it could cause severe health problems for anyone living near it.References : Father Wolffe, Rev.

Get some industrial stregnth bleach…you can find it at Lowes and such…black mold is best removed with face masks and other protective gear! It should not really be touched…if you can, cut out the biggest part of it and carry it out in sections! It can be very dangerous! If there is a lot, you should really have a professional remove it! After you have cut out the biggest part, use the bleach to wipe down anything else…it will kill anything remaining. Good luck and be careful!References : Husband is a contractor…had to remove mold from dry wall in bathrooms & basements several times!

Depending on were its located, bleach wont work.If its just on a non pourous surface bleach is fine, if its on something like drywall it wont work, you need to find the source of the mold problem, fix it than start the clean up.References :

first of all DO – Not – Mix Bleach with any other cleaning agents this can cause a toxic Gas.there is a warning on the label. Depending where your mold is for-instance with-in the grout of tiles remove all the old grout. Comet and a good brush work well and some old fashion elbow grease.
If you have it on sheet rock walls most likely it has penetrated into the sheet rock .Remove & reapply mold resistant sheet rock & apply to manufactures spects. Theen change your cleaning habits.References :
