Black Mold Exposure documentary film trailer

2 Black Mold Exposure documentary film trailerBlack Mold Exposure follows Michael Roland Williams, filmmaker, and Karen Noseff, founder and designer of Fortune Denim, struggling to regain their livelihood and well-being after they were unknowingly exposed to high levels of various molds that had infested Karens apartment.

A growing number of people from all ages and walks of life claim mold made them ill while physicians, lawmakers, and medical associations dispute the validity of these claims. Most of the symptoms of those claiming illness from mold can be caused by, and diagnosed as, any number of other illnesses. There are no standardized methods to measure what molds, at what exposure levels, over what period of time, might cause any given person to become ill.

BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE explores the bizarre illnesses associated with exposure to toxic mold and the film participants difficult task of regaining their health and lives in an atmosphere of political and social intolerance and disbelief.

Remember that not … Remember that not all "black mold" is the deadly kind(stachybotrys). Most of the time it is aspergillus, and while still bad for you health, and can cause infections if you are immunocompromised, is NOT deadly(except in *extremely* rare cases in the immunocompromised). If you see black mold growing, it's best to get it tested, but usually there is no need to freak out. Remember- black mold is a deion, not a specific species.

    Wow thank you!!!! …
Wow thank you!!!! I found out on my own that I was allergice to mold, and I can spot it due to a extremely quick reaction. As soon as I am exposed to any level of mold, my mouth gets this feeling, and this is the best way for me to explain it, like I ate a hot pepper and my teeth get the same reaction. My tongue has swollen up also, woke up gagging on it a few times. (I think I’m running out of space so I am posting this)

Today's Homes are … Today's Homes are built for for tomorrow's "landfills" – a nice word? for dumps. These type houses are constructed the same as fast food – with materials used in the construction of trailers.
    - Tin, Chipboard, Plastic, & Foam,
put 'em together &? what have you got,
somethin' that you can call – Home?
Far more protections govern the construction of a child's toy, the ingredients in Fruit Loops, & the construction of a vehicle – The Toyota recall.
    - A Home Builder recall… Never.

LaWoman071 I have … LaWoman071 I have been very sick for over 2 years. Western medicine was completely unable to even diagnose what was wrong with me! Last Friday I went to Dr. Matt Van Benschoten in Reseda California.
Email him and get an appointment. The outcome of mold is so frightening. Please take care of yourselves. My elderly mother has sores all over her body and even? though I told her what it is: and where to get treated she refuses.

    4. Insulation (except closed cell foam): can stay wet for weeks.
    5. FHA/Central A.C. : Blows any contaminants all over the house. Mold can grow on the evaporator core. Radiators and radian heat are safer. Wall & window AC units can get moldy, but are easier to decontaminate. Any house with both heat and AC may have no safe place in its walls for a vapor barrier.
    6. Tight houses: If a house is really free of drafts, it should have a air-to-air heat exchanger to bring in outside air.

    Here are the …
Here are the factors I blame the most for mold infestations:
1 Slow water leaks: easy to ignore until it’s too late.
    2. Sheetrock: Most houses built after 1940 have it in some form; the paper grows mold much faster than wood.
    3. Vinyl siding: A less than perfect job lets water right into the wall and helps trap it there. Hard to tell if an installation is defective until it’s too late. Brick or stucco over wood framing can be just as bad if installed badly.

Every house in … Every house in which I've lived has had mold growth somewhere, but it's never caused a major problem. I think the reason is that none of these houses had central A.C., which often becomes a breeding ground for mold. They were also mostly heated by radiators, rather then FHA, which tends to blow spores from one room the the rest. I also make a point of sealing even minor gaps, cracks and leaks.

YOU NEED LAWS, … YOU NEED LAWS, OBVIOUSLY ITS NOT A PRIVATE THING WHEN SOMEONE IS DYING WITH LIFE LONG CONSEQUENCES, THE POLICE OR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO HAVE A SET UP HELPING IMMEDIATELY VICTIMS OF SUCH, WHO IN THE MOMENT ARE MOSTLY NOT ABLE TO BREATHE OR EVEN EAT RIGHT AND SHOULD NOT RUN AROUND LOOKING FOR PRIVATE LAWYERS AND DOING MOLD TESTS AND PAY THEM THEMSELVES, ELSE, THE KARMA ON U.S. WONT BE LIFTED!…Greets

    I’ve been dealing …
I’ve been dealing with this my whole life. I’m so alergic to all molds. My brand new home we had to leave it was causing serious health issues. Not just the issues of a brand ne home falling apart but water able to get in from the roof. Now I’m in a apartment and suffering from major alergy attacks from mold. Mold is a serious problem and all my years with mycology I know the seriousness of mold and the Dr’s do not want to acknowledge it.

    I lost everything …
I lost everything because of mold and indoor pollutants that the slumlords knew about and covered up. I am still sick and need sinus surgery to hopefully stop my asthma. I hope that the God puts these people in for eternity for what they did to me and my family.

It's been 8 years … It's been 8 years and I'm still struggling with some problems. The faster you get out the better off you will be. Some people remove themselves from the mold and recover in a few days, a few weeks, a few years. It just depends on your biochemistry, the molds you are being exposed to, the level of exposure, how are you being exposure, how long are you being exposed. The health problems are also a huge variable depending on all of the above. Lot's of variables involved. Get out if you can.

    Black mold happens …
Black mold happens mainly because of the construction industry’s obsession with making energy efficient homes. Let me tell you something…if you have drafts in your home (leaky windows, doors, attics, not so great insulation, leaky ductwork) DON’T FIX THEM. If you ever have a watter issue ANYWHERE in your home, those leaks will relieve any moisture buildup in your home (will let your home breath) & it will stop mold growth…
I have been helping people with mold issues for over 10 years
